Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

CFD is a powerful tool that simulates fluid flow, offering a virtual alternative to wind tunnel testing, which can be used to predict aerodynamic performance and analyze complex scenarios, while wind tunnels provide physical validation and can be used to assess the accuracy of CFD simulations.

Our software is an advanced engineering tool designed to calculate aircraft flight loads while accounting for aeroelastic and aerothermoelastic effects. These computed loads are crucial for structural engineers performing in-depth stress evaluations of aircraft components. At its foundation, our software utilizes a unified high-order panel method that covers subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic flight conditions, enabling the efficient development of aerodynamic and load databases for six-degree-of-freedom simulations and critical load assessments. Its unstructured surface panel framework is compatible with the finite element method, facilitating smooth integration with pre-processing software such for aerodynamic model preparation. Our software also incorporates a vortex roll-up model for handling high-angle-of-attack aerodynamics
